Poor service standards at Woolworths
Paddocks / Century City Canal Walk - Milnerton Cape Town
I have finally concluded that the Paddocks and Century City Canal Walk Woolworths stores equally appalling service delivery standards are due to a lack of Woolworths regional and top management quality-of-service intervention, support and on-the-floor interest / attention to detail.

| Woolworths 1 | Woolworths 2 | Woolworths 3 |
I am convinced that the following factors are probable causes for the current declining service levels and increased customer complaints of my once proud Woolworths customer service experience:
- Lack of experience / retail vigilance by Woolworths store managers
- Lack of retail / management training and development on store-level
- Lack of regional management supervision and store involvement.
These findings should be a serious wake-up call for Woolworths regional and top management considering that they keep syndicating positive brand communications through their Woolworths quality and value brand messages.
Just take a look at my positive experience(s) with the Milnerton Mall Kwikspar to see why I am so adamant about communicating the appalling Woolworths service experiences.
In my ongoing online research on Woolworhs service levels I stumbled on this Woolworths last 5 day complaints list as published on the www.hellopeter.com website. This is a clear indicator that the customer complaints / retail management problems are much broader than an isolated Milnerton area.
I am of opinion that it will take years for the current regional / top management to get a handle in rebuilding a corporate service culture and therefore will think twice before visiting the Woolworths Paddocks and Canal Walk stores.
