What you do not expect from Vodacom South Africa customer care. I just received a phone call from Vodacom's customer care department with the representative initiating the dialog with only this - "How are you?" - no introduction, no reason or any informative hint that this is indeed Vodacom requiring service information to update my account. And on the response on why this unprofessional, pathetic introduction - "It is the polite thing to do" Professional telephone etiquette? I don't think so...

The most unprofessional and unethical staff of vodacom I have come across at the rustenburg watrefall Mall branch. Because of the wrong information given by the store manager Jaco I couldn't awail my nokia phone for my points. I strongly recommend that some enquiry should be done by the superiors in this matter.

Still a long road to walk for Vodacom. Just as I marvel in good service from some Vodacom, it disappear in other areas. Part of their corporate culture I suppose - thanks for sharing your Vodacom experience.

Sometimes after recharging,the money in my account diminishes,having made no outgoing calls.I would like to know as to what couses that.

Thanks for your comment, I recommend you take this up with Vodacom Accounts - that's if your account is indeed a Vodacom account. I suggest that you save all Vodacom paper / omline account records and give their Customer Care on 111 a call.
