Return of my missing Vodacom Night Owl 600 Meg data bundle.
My missing Vodacom Night Owl 600 Meg data bundle is back in my account, but I am greeting this with a bit of skepticism for the following reasons:
- I was informed in an email yesterday (Vodacom Broadband Support) that my ad-hoc data bundle did not have a carry-over as stated by me on this website. Well sir – my data bundle is back and as stated by me the expiry of the data bundle is only the end of this month.
- Receiving continuous inaccurate information from Vodacom Broadband support staff. Different representatives provide different messages and information specifications.
- Data bundles disappearing with any trace of existence. Only after extensive complaint syndication was this problem solved. It is not about 600 Meg or the fact that I only have 27 Meg left (with full compliment of Night Owl data), but the principle of sub-standard online account management.
How sure am I that this will not happen again at month-end?
As private and business Vodacom clients we should get correct information from within your online facility and from the people operating your call centres. I have no intention to move away from Vodacom because when things are working well I am more than satisfied. But, when errors appear (which form time to time even I can live with) we require accurate information by well informed Vodacom representatives.
