After re-reading about Standard Bank's "Striving for service excellence is nothing new for Standard Bank and its staff" after winning a Service Award in the The Orange Index Awards 2010 I could not resist thinking about the standard of the Standard Bank Milnerton brand and left this [at the time unmoderated] comment on the Standard Bank Blog.
"I sincerely hope that the management of Standard Bank Milnerton is aware of this. I see no difference at the Standard Bank Milnerton branch - once I have complimented of above average service, but as they say - a leopard cannot change his spots. Have no interest that Standard Bank Milnerton will ever deliver.
As a Prestige Plan client I do not even know who is managing this branch - no client communication and no real supervision on the floor - the service is a true witness to this.
