Service Excellence - Protea Hotel Victoria Junction Cape Town
After the continuous poor management / service practice at Limnos Bakery in Green Point I gave in on my quest for finding an open coffee shop before 06:30 in Green Point Cape Town. A few weeks ago I started visiting the Protea Hotel Victoria Junction in Green Point across from the campus where I lecture and I am kicking myself for not doing so years ago.
It will probably be unfair to compare the Victoria Junction hotel with some of the local coffee shops I frequented in the Green Point area, but nevertheless, the service and the staff is worth mentioning in my appreciation and search for service excellence.
Every morning, even as early as 06:00, I am greeted by managers and staff that are unbelievably friendly, efficient and service orientated. Different days, different shifts and different staff yield the same high quality service results. And I am sure this is strongly attuned to the hotel's corporate values.
